Nusantara Arts specialises in Indonesian material culture sourced from established European and private collections. Founded by Joseph Lamont, a doctoral researcher at Griffith University whose work on Marapu Indigenous religion, critical heritage and epistemic justice is grounded in long-term community relationships in Eastern Indonesia.
Each piece is documented with provenance, technical analysis and cultural context informed by ongoing fieldwork — connecting objects in collections to the living traditions from which they emerged.
